Company overview

One of the greatest challenges for financial advisors today is selecting the most appropriate unit trusts to include in a portfolio from the ever-increasing universe of available unit trust funds.

Synergy Multi Managers (SYNERGY) is a specialist investment management business that focuses on managing best-of-breed multi-manager investment portfolios. To understand SYNERGY’s area of focus from an investment management perspective, it’s essential to grasp what a multi-manager investment process entails. Multi-managers construct investment portfolios by combining various specialist asset managers into one composite multi-manager portfolio. By spreading your investment across multiple underlying asset managers, SYNERGY reduces the risk typically associated with investing solely with one asset manager.

Additionally, SYNERGY has appointed Analytics Consulting as its technical consultant to provide appropriate investment management capabilities and innovative products to SYNERGY.

Analytics Consulting is an independent investment consulting and product development business that offers investment consulting services and bespoke product solutions to leading independent financial advisory and boutique investment management firms in South Africa. The Analytics Consulting team originated from Investec Asset Management and includes technical specialists who have worked for some of the top financial services firms in South Africa, including Allan Gray, RMB, Stanlib, and Stonehage.
