Key staff
Natalie Wheble is a CFP® charter holder and a Fellow of the FPI, holding post-graduate qualifications in financial planning and portfolio management. Her career started at Investec, and with over 30 years’ experience, Natalie has honed her skills to focus on private wealth planning and portfolio construction and management.
Drew Rydell is a CFP® charter holder and a fellow of the FPI. He holds a post-graduate qualification in financial planning and over 20 years’ experience. Drew started his career at Barnard Jacobs Mellet before moving to Investec and then joining Apex Private Wealth 17 years ago as a Private Wealth Adviser.

Fund details
The AE Invest Ci Balanced Fund is a multi-asset high equity portfolio. The investment objective of the portfolio is to deliver long term capital growth through managed exposure across asset classes.
The portfolio maintains a moderate to aggressive risk profile and the portfolio’s equity exposure will be limited to a maximum of 75% of the portfolio’s net asset value. The portfolio will comply with prudential investment guidelines to the extent allowed by the Act.
Investments to be included in the portfolio may, apart from assets in liquid form, consist of equity securities, non-equity securities, convertible equities, preference shares and property securities as well as any other securities which are considered consistent with the portfolio’s objective and the Act may allow from time to time.
The portfolio may also include participatory interests in portfolios of collective investment schemes or other similar collective investment schemes registered in the Republic of South Africa or of participatory interests in collective investment schemes or other similar schemes operated in territories with a regulatory environment which is to the satisfaction of the Manager and the Trustee of a sufficient standard to provide investor protection which is at least equivalent to that in South Africa.
The portfolio may from time to time invest in listed and unlisted financial instruments, in accordance with the provisions of the Act, and the Regulations thereto, as amended from time to time, to achieve the portfolio’s investment objective.
The AE Invest Ci Equity Fund is a South African general equity portfolio. The investment objective of the portfolio is to deliver long term capital growth through investment in a diversified portfolio of equity securities.
The portfolio maintains an aggressive risk profile and the portfolio’s equity exposure will always exceed 80% of the portfolio’s net asset value.
Investments to be included in the portfolio may, apart from assets in liquid form, consist of equity securities, non-equity securities, convertible stock, preference shares and property securities as well as any other securities which are considered consistent with the portfolio’s primary objective and that the Act may allow from time to time.
The portfolio may also include participatory interests in portfolios of collective investment schemes or other similar collective investment schemes registered in the Republic of South Africa or of participatory interests in collective investment schemes or other similar schemes operated in territories with a regulatory environment which is to the satisfaction of the Manager and the Trustee of a sufficient standard to provide investor protection which is at least equivalent to that in South Africa.

The AE Invest Ci Global Diversified Equity Feeder Fund shall be subject to all the provisions of the deed, the supplemental deeds and this supplemental deed, except to the extent that this supplemental deed amends provisions of the deed and or the supplemental deeds.
Expressions defined in the deed and the supplemental deeds shall bear the same meaning therein assigned to them when used in this supplemental deed, except to the extent that this supplemental deed amends those definitions.
